Chat with your peers

American Health Consultants, the publisher of Patient-Focused Care now offers an electronic forum, called a "listserv," that allows readers to network with one another via e-mail.

The listserv is free to our subscribers. It is intended to be an open forum for any and all health care quality, utilization management, utilization review, and other health care professionals who wish to discuss their profession, exchange questions, or share their experiences with their peers.

All it takes to join is an e-mail account. Simply send a message to listserv@listserv.medec.com, and put the words "subscribe healthcare-quality" in the body of the message followed by your first and last names. (For example, subscribe healthcare-quality jane doe.) You will then receive instructions on how the forum works, how to post messages to the forum, and how to exit the forum.

For those with access to the World Wide Web, you can visit our home page at http://www. ahcpub.com and click on the button for our listservs and follow the prompts and instructions to subscribe to the forum of your choice.

The listserv is sponsored by American Health Consultants and is managed by the editors of Hospital Peer Review, QI/TQM, Health Care Benchmarks, and Patient-Focused Care. Telephone: (800) 688-2421.
