House bill allows home care for vets
The U.S. House of Representatives has passed the Veterans Health Programs Improvement Act of 1997 (HR 2206), which would authorize the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to provide appropriate health-related services through public and private agencies, including home care and adult day care. The bill is intended to improve a number of veterans health care programs.
