When practical, AHC Media is pleased to offer the choice two formats for downloading electronic books*.
EPUB files can be viewed on a large number of devices, from desktop computers to smart phones to dedicated e-readers (other than Kindles). They are generally the best option for reading on a tablet or smart phone. For iPad or iPhone users, please install Apple's free iBooks app, then download the file directly to your device from our website or email the file to your self and open the attachment on your tablet/smart phone. Apple provides in-depth help for ePub files. Google Play Books, Nook and Kobo desktop and tablet software and dedicatred eReaders as well as numerous other options support ePub files. Please check your chosen reader for further details.
PDF files can be viewed using several readers, although the free Adobe Reader is the de facto standard and comes pre-installed on many computers. For e-books we recommend downloading the PDF (you may need to right-click and select "Save As" on the download link, or use the "Save" or "Download" button after opening the file inside your web browser). There are several e-reader software applications available for both desktop as well as tablet/mobile that can read PDFs as a resumable book format. These include iBooks for Apple products, Adobe Digital Editions which is a free download, and many other applications including Google Play Books and Kobo desktop and tablet.
* Not all e-books are available in both formats.
