WHO/UNAIDS announce recommendations about male circumcision as HIV prevention
An international expert consultation convened by the World Health Organization (WHO) of Geneva, Switzerland and the UNAIDS Secretariat recommends that male circumcision be recognized as an important HIV prevention intervention in reducing the risk of heterosexually acquired HIV infection in men. -
FDA Notifications
The FDA has issued final guidance, entitled "Guidance for Industry: Eligibility Determination for Donors of Human Cells, Tissues, and Cellular and Tissue-Based Products (HCT/Ps)," to assist establishments making donor eligibility determinations to comply with the requirements for determining donor-eligibility, including donor screening and testing for donors of human cells, tissues, and cellular and tissue-based products. -
