Neonatal emergencies are frightening and challenging to almost all acute care providers. Parents are very aware of the appearance of the head, eyes, ears, nose and throat (HEENT) of a neonate. The head is an area of particular concern for parents, and many have questions regarding the shape and configuration. This module will focus on HEENT emergencies in the neonate and will provide a succinct review of critical issues pertinent to clinical practice.
This module is also included in the training bundles: Neonatal Emergencies: Critical Concepts Compendium and Pediatric and Neonatal Emergencies: Critical Concepts Compendium
