Restraint is the number one deficiency hospitals are penalized for in the Hospital CoP because the restraint policy is one of the hardest to write and understand for healthcare employees. CMS recommends hospitals implement restraint training on a regular basis to prevent hospitals from being out of compliance.
This program will simplify 50 pages of the CMS restraint and seclusion interpretive guidelines, including the proposed changes in the Hospital Improvement Act. Our expert will provide a crosswalk to TJC and other accrediting standards, review reporting requirements, and share best practices for physicians and RNs to ensure compliance.
All accrediting bodies require restraint training, and CMS mandates both orientation and ongoing education for all hospital staff. We’ll help you meet these requirements!
