    $299.00

    Product Details

Nationally, pediatric patients do not always have access to the highest quality pediatric care. Pediatric readiness is a top priority for all hospitals, urgent care centers, and facilities that care for children. Pediatric Trauma 2019: Raising the Bar to Excellence facilitates excellence by covering the latest scientific information on caring for children who present with traumatic injuries.

Pediatric Trauma 2019 is designed for physicians and nurses participating in trauma programs and who treat pediatric trauma patients in emergency departments, children's hospitals, non-pediatric specific hospitals, free-standing emergency facilities, and urgent care facilities. This book provides 18 hours of pediatric trauma-specific CME/CE credits, meeting the yearly requirements for trauma-certified professionals, and subscribers can test on individual articles in 3-hour increments. All articles are written by leading experts in pediatric emergency medicine and pediatric trauma.

Presented digitally, Pediatric Trauma 2019 is a comprehensive publication that covers the latest information on treating children with traumatic injuries. Articles describe modalities to identify various traumatic conditions, cite methods to quickly stabilize and manage pediatric patients, and identify complications that may occur with traumatic injuries in children. The book includes valuable tables, treatment algorithms, X-ray and CT scan images, and photographs to support the information, and is organized in a format that is easy for physicians and nurses to earn pediatric trauma-specific continuing education credits.

    Topics include:

    1. Cervical Spinal Injuries
    2. Airway Management
    3. Ocular Trauma
    4. Orofacial Trauma
    5. Abdominal Trauma – two-part series
