Approximately 250,000 people suffer from ST-elevation myocardial infarctions (STEMI) each year. Make sure you’re prepared to properly diagnose and treat your patients with STEMI Watch Volume 2: Diagnosis and Beyond. This internet-based course is designed to improve the consistency of cardiac care for STEMI (ST segment elevation myocardial infarction) patients. It is presented in four online modules that can be taken independently, each providing 2.5 hours of STEMI CME/CE credit. STEMI Watch Volume 2 is also provided in a concise PDF format for easy offline learning.
STEMI Watch Volume 2: Diagnosis and Beyond provides clinically relevant articles to help healthcare providers eliminate the obstacles that prevent STEMI patients from accessing and receiving appropriate treatments. Articles discuss STEMI diagnosis, emergency management, in-hospital treatment, complications, post-hospital management, STEMI mimics, and aortic dissection.
In addition, STEMI Watch Volume 2 provides 10 hours of CME/CE credits to meet the Mission: Lifeline Accreditation for STEMI continuing education requirements.

Physicians and nurses participate in this CME/CE activity by reading the issues, using the provided references for further research and studying the questions at the end of each issue. Participants will then be directed to a website, where they will complete an online assessment to show what they've learned. They must score 100 on the assessment in order to complete the activity, but they are allowed to answer the questions multiple times if needed. After they have successfully completed the assessment, they will be directed to an online activity evaluation form. Once that is submitted, they will receive their credit letter.
