The National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) in Denver recently issued a new report and cassette tape summarizing state laws related to pain management, physician-assisted suicide, advance directives, and end-of-life services. The resources are targeted at helping state legislators make informed decisions about end-of-life care issues, but they contain useful information for anyone trying to track developments in this area.
