Prototype safety syringe ready for testing
Maxxon, of Tulsa, OK, announced recently that a prototype of its Maxxon Safety Syringe is ready for preliminary evaluation of the patented working mechanics of the syringe.
"Maybe by the end of the first quarter [of 1998] we might have U.S. sales," says company spokesman William Robinson.
The Maxxon Safety Syringe meets all OSHA standards and, Robinson says, has two distinct advantage over currently available safety syringes. "It doesn't have any moveable parts because it works on a vacuum," he says. "And from a cost standpoint, we're about half what the other similar-type products are."
